Sue Bowdler is the Group Managing Director. Sue provides a general practitioner role to the varied client base as well as specialising in company sales and strategic tax planning. Sue leads the team of thirty, providing services as detailed in our directory.


Alan Jones FCCA

After two years post qualification experience, Alan joined Hamiltons in 1996 and has since fulfilled various roles from audit senior through to his present position of director. Since joining the practice, Alan has assisted in developing in house systems and the recruitment of new team members. He has also been able to bring his vast knowledge of accounting and taxation to assist and improve client systems and help them achieve their goals.


Dawn Horton FCA
Audit and Accounts Manager

Dawn Horton joined the Hamiltons management team in 1999. She specialises in compliance work and oversees the audits undertaken by the practice. Dawn is also responsible for the internal training of team members on audit and accounts related matters.


Graham Lindsay FCA
Audit and Accounts Manager

Graham Lindsay

Graham joined the management team in 2020 as an audit and accounts supervisor.
Having worked in practice since 2002, Graham specialises in the audit and compliance work, as well as being able to advise clients on accounts and tax related matters.


Craig Smith ACCA
Audit and Accounts Manager

Craig joined the team in November 2021 as an accounts and audit manager.
He is an experienced client manager who has been working in practice for almost 30 years where he has worked with all clients from sole traders to multi group companies.
Craig is happy to help and advise on all aspects of work including bookkeeping, management accounts, statutory accounts and audits.

Anne Aston FCCA
Accounts Supervisor

Anne joined the management team in 2015 as an accounts supervisor.
Prior to joining Hamiltons, Anne has previously worked in practice since 2001 specialising in all aspects of assisting and advising clients within the SME market. Anne also oversees the bookkeeping and VAT department.


Becky Homer ATT
Tax Manager

Becky joined the management team in 2021 as the tax manager.
Becky is ATT qualified and has worked in practice since 2013.
She has a broad knowledge of all aspects of taxation and specialises in working closely with client’s regarding their taxation affairs.
Becky will be overseeing the compliance aspects of personal and corporate tax as well as providing support to the directors in tax planning and strategy work.


Myles Butterly
Audit and Accounts Supervisor

In the 10 years Myles has worked at Hamilton’s he has progressed through various roles within the practice to his present role as Audit and Accounts Supervisor.
Myles specialises in the preparation of management accounts assisting clients with their ongoing monthly reporting requirements and also provides supervision and training of our audit team.


Claire Cooper
Payroll and Stat Supervisor

Claire joined Hamiltons in November 2014 as an Accounts Assistant.
She assisted with accounts preparation and book keeping work before moving into her current role in payroll and support for Statutory work in 2016.
This mixed role and experience gives her a wealth of knowledge to help and assist clients wherever possible
Claire now supervises other team members at Hamiltons with payroll and statutory matters and is also undertaking a course on HR so she can further provide further support clients in the future with personnel and HR issues.
